my story

My Story - Meghan Coumbs Owner

K9 Clippers has grown over the last 4 years between Haliburton and Newmarket  through the support of my amazing clients.

I started down the path of pet grooming helping my stepmom in her grooming kennel in 2010 by walking, bathing, feeding, supporting and caring for dogs.  My love and compassion for animals has steadily grown since I was a child.  I have worked  in kennels and veterinary facilities in the past but I have always come back to grooming.

I received my education and training in Richmond Hill at Fluffy Paws Grooming School in 2019.  My goal is to help pets become the finest they can be through regular care and grooming.  I want to make the best life for each pet that I am honoured to groom.

Regular baths with pet specific shampoos will keep your pet's skin clean, nourished, and healthy.  The process of scrubbing, blow drying, and brushing removes dead skin and hair, allowing air to circulate through your pet's skin and coat.  Regular grooming will keep your pet from smelling dirty and "doggy".

The age and breed of your pet, as well as the condition of coat, among other factors, will influence the most suitable method for grooming for your pet.  Scroll down to see the K9 Clippers menu of services and price list.  Please note, our packages include starting points for Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large pets to give you an idea of what to expect.  Once we meet your pet we will be better able to provide a more accurate pricing.

K9 Clippers offers a variety of grooming services including bathing, haircuts, nail trimming, and ear cleaning for dogs of all breeds and sizes.


Current Price List - January 2025


Nail Trim  - Our professional groomers provide expert pet nail trimming services to keep your furry friend's paws healthy and comfortable. Trust us to handle your pet's grooming needs with care. 

Dogs - 10 minutes - $20

Cats - 10 minutes - $30

Nail Trim with Dremel - 20 minutes - $35


Bath and Brush -  includes a thorough cleaning and brushing to keep your furry friend looking and feeling their best. 

Small Dog - 30 minutes - $65

Medium to Large Dog - 1 hour - $80


Full Groom -  Our Full Groom service  includes a complete grooming experience, from bath, blow dry, shave or trim to nail trimming and ear cleaning. 

Small Dog - 1.5 hours - $80

Medium Dog - 1.5 hours - $100

Large Dog - 2 hours - $120


Ear Deep Clean -  Experience a thorough Ear Deep Clean service from our professional groomers. Ensure your pet's ears are clean and healthy with our gentle and effective techniques. 

All Pets - 10 minutes - $20


Anal Gland Expression -  Our professional groomers offer anal gland expression services for your pet's health and comfort. Trust us to provide expert care in a safe and comfortable environment. 

All Dogs -20  minutes - $25

 Hello my lovely K9clippers family and Happy New Year! Just a quick update that our shop is still open Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.  If you would like an appointment, please reach out to me by scrolling down to the Contact Us information to get your fur baby in for a freshen up. I appreciate your patience and understanding as I continue to navigate running my business while on maternity leave.  And exciting news - beginning in February you will be able to book appointments ONLINE on this website.  More information will be shared later this month
